Inchies on a Tag

Happy Sunday folks and welcome to another TYI challenge! This week we're celebrating all things teeny with the theme of Inchies on a Tag. For this you could have just the one inchie to highlight a certain area or several inchies to create a whole picture ... our fabulous DT have created their tags using both these styles!

Anne

And now it's over to you, we hope you enjoy creating miniature works of art for your tags as much as we did and that you leave us a link to your creations!

One final piece of news, next Sunday sees the start of our monthly tag swap. Each DT member will be hosting a swap and I (Sam) will be your first hostess :) ... and I'll give you a clue, it's going to be a colour challenge ... quite simply because I love them lol. We all hope as many as possible of you talented crafters play along as it's just fabulous getting art in the mail rather than bills and junk ;)

Take care everyone and enjoy the rest of your weekend!

(Edited to add ~ apologies for the recent changes of scenery to our blog but since blogger added new formats we've been struggling to get the right look and layout!)

Black, White and a touch of gold

Good morning taggers and Happy Sunday to you all. A very big Thank You to all those who played along with our Beach theme last week - hope you enjoyed it as much as we did! I also put numbers in a hat for my super-duper uber exciting giveaway of the Sun & Sand wax tart and the incredibly lucky lady who's number was drawn out of the hat (yogurt pot!) was drrrrrrrrrrumroll.................. MeggyMay!!

Well done Yvonne! If you want to drop me a line with your addy, I'll get it posted off to you!

We're looking a bit classy this week with our theme of Black & White with a touch of Gold tags. The wonderful tag team have put together a couple of samples to entice you to play along which we hope you'll love:

Anne

Now then, those ladies who recent played along with our June Tag Swap, we hope you were as delighted with the tags you received as we were with ours, and we have some fab news to share with you. One or two taggers have asked if we can do it again and we are excited to say that you were thinking along the same lines as us, and so therefore in August we are going to start hosting a monthly tag swap!! On the first Sunday of each month a new theme will be posted which will be the Swap Theme for the month. Each month a different teamie will host the swap and you will be asked to submit 3 tags for that theme by a certain date. Your 3 tags can be identical, or they can be as different as you like, as long as they're designed for the theme of the month. All tags must be hand-made and not computer-generated, and even if you're not a regular player but would like to take part in the swaps you are also very welcome!

So now it's over to you - we want to see your Black & White tags with a touch of Gold! It doesn't have to be classy - it's entirely up to you and how you interpret it!

Have a wonderful week and don't forget to leave your link so we can come and visit you!

By the Beach

Hurrah! It's Sunday again - time for a new theme and one which we are convinced you will love! This week we want you to get your deck chairs out and imagine yourselves By The Beach! Sigh.... And to get you in the mood, here are some fab samples from the wonderful tag team:

A bit of un-sponsored advertising here - if you really want to get into 'By the Beach' mood, treat yourself to Yankee Candles range of Sun & Sand smellies! I confess to being a complete addict and have their products all over my house and even in my car, so my mind is permanently picking through seaweed to collect driftwood and shells off the beach. It's divine! I have here a wax tart that I will send to one random player this week - they may be small but they are really powerful!

So don't forget to leave us your link - I hope lots of you play along because this is one of the team's favourite themes and we'd love to come and see your Beach themed tags!

Uncle Sam!

Happy Sunday once more Taggers! Well aren't we enjoying the most glorious weather? They say (the Brits, that is!) that there is no nicer place to be than at home in the UK when the weather is good and I cannot agree more (though a trip round the med on a yacht wouldn't be turned away if offered!!). But today we are celebrating all that is American as we focus on 4th July, and give Uncle Sam a shout. Our fab DT have prepared a tag or two to entice you to grab your Red, White and Blues and get tagging - hope you like them:

Anne

So now it's over to you - we'd love to see your Uncle Sam tags so don't forget to post your link so we can come and visit you!

Cupcakes Oh my....!

Happy Sunday Taggers, and welcome to the final week of our Tag Swap. Our theme this week is entitled Cupcakes, Oh my...! Isn't it funny how themes seem to all come together at the same time in blogland! When we drew up our list of themes and dates back in March this year, no way could we have forseen the many other Cupcake challenges that would be open this week also. I have noticed several Cupcake challenges on my travels this week which is fantastic, because now we know that there are just HUNDREDS of Cupcake images out there just longing to be used again! So hopefully, those of you with cupcake stamps/images/diecuts, etc. will want to get those out again and join in with the last of our June themes and hopefully swap them!

So, whether you've done one theme or all four themes in June, and are ready to swap your tags, Please email Janet for details of where to send your tags to. For those who are taking part, please could you have your tags posted off to Janet by Friday 9th July at the very latest so that by this date, she will have all the tags that are to be swapped together, ready to be re-distributed to everyone who played along with us. Please would you also write your name on the back of the tag so that we know who's tags we've received back.

So, without further ado, here are some samples of Cupcake tags made by our wonderful team:

Now it's over to you! Can't wait to see your yummy Cupcake tags! Don't forget to leave your link! :o)

Make your own Ribbon Embellishment

Happy Sunday again folks! Nice easy one for you this week. We've seen some wonderful tags over the previous weeks and we're really hoping that all those June one's will be going into the tag swap because they are stunning!!! It's still not too late to join in though so if you're only just reading this for the first time and wish you'd found us sooner, don't be put off - you can either catch up at your own pace, or just jump in now and do the next couple of themes. How ever many tags you send in, that's how many you will receive in return. So get those scrap boxes out and get tagging!!

Our theme this week is to Make Your Own Ribbon Embellishment! What could be simpler? Our lovely creative team here have been making samples to hopefully inspire and entice you to join in and here are their fabulous efforts:

Sam

Just one more theme to go now and we'll be ready to swap - we are really excited about this and hope you're as keen as us!

On a personal note I (Anne) would like to apologise for not being able to get around and comment on everyone's tags from last week. It's nothing personal I assure you - I seem to have picked up a blog bug that isn't allowing me to comment and I can't get to the bottom of it! It keeps asking for my password and then tells me it's invalid (which I know isn't true!) and until I've managed to find out what's happened, I may miss some people out which is really sad because I have been sat at my pooter squealing with delight over your tags! I will keep at it until I've cracked it though ;o)

In the meantime, hope you all have a wonderful week ahead and we can't wait to see your ribbon embellishments! Happy tagging!
